Scholarships, discounts and payment plans
At universities in North Macedonia, scholarships usually take the form of a discount. It matters to know which discount actually lowers your budget.
Early application discount
Applying before places fill up can earn a percentage off the annual fee. The dates change every year.
Merit scholarship
A partial discount based on your high-school average or exam result, usually renewed each year subject to your grades.
Sibling / family discount
An extra discount may apply to siblings at the same institution. Documentation is required.
Upfront payment advantage
Paying the annual fee in one go can earn a discount; instalments may carry a surcharge.
Public university quotas
Public universities have limited international quotas and a different fee structure from private ones.
